Diaspora Legacy Group Inc. (“Diaspora Legacy Group”, “we”, “us”) is a recruitment agency headquartered at 200 Caldari Rd, Vaughan, ON L4K 4J4, Canada. We connect candidates with career opportunities at licensed financial-services firms across Canada at no cost to the candidate.
This Privacy Policy applies to information we collect through our website, application forms, and direct communications with you.
Information we collect
To match candidates to opportunities, we collect:
- Identifiers and contact details (name, email, phone, city, province).
- Career information you choose to share (résumé, work history, education, licensing status, references).
- Communications you exchange with our team (emails, scheduled calls, application notes).
- Limited technical information from your visit (browser type, pages viewed, referring URL) used only to operate and improve the site.
We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of majority in their province of residence.

- Sharing your candidacy, with your consent, with vetted partner firms.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing or advertising.
Sharing with partner firms
When we believe a partner firm may be a fit, we share your relevant career information with the firm’s recruiting or licensing team. We share only what is necessary, and we ask that partner firms handle your information in accordance with applicable Canadian privacy laws.
You may withdraw consent to such sharing at any time by contacting us.
How we protect your information
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. Access to candidate records is restricted to team members and contractors with a legitimate need.
How long we keep your information
We retain your information for as long as is necessary to provide our services and to satisfy legal, accounting, or reporting obligations. If you ask us to delete your information and we are not required to retain it, we will do so within a reasonable period.
Your rights
Subject to applicable Canadian law, you have the right to:

- Request correction of inaccurate information.
- Withdraw consent to further processing or sharing.
- Request deletion of your information when no legal obligation requires us to retain it.
